This is just lazy so my description will be equally as lazy. Pass.

This was the runner up of our Twitter poll from a while back. The one that The Obsolete Man rightfully won. Anyway, we don’t have any obligation to do this one but the bingo hopper chose a redux episode so we figured why not? This episode…. we don’t get the popularity.

Fuck this. That’s all.

It was Dick’s turn to pick a John Carpenter movie this week. Or as we call it here: his Dick Pick. He chose one of the reletively unseen Carpenter movies: Prince Of Darkness from 1987. It reunites Carpenter with Donald Pleasence and Victor Wong. I haven’t seen the movie yet so that’s about all I can say. Stay tuned next week for a VERY unseen Carpenter movie: Someone’s Watching Me from 1978.

This episode’s opening really only works if you’re racist at heart. Otherwise you’re just watching a dude take a jog. This episode is also very predictable because we saw it in the first Tales From The Hood movie. Only much better.

In the very first episode of the UPN revamp of The Twilight Zone from 2002, we are treated with an episode that is predictable within 2 minutes. Yay? At least it wasn’t as bad as the 80’s ones we’ve watched so far.

We avoid Nirvana song listing segments but instead are impressed with this moral debate episode. Sex changes for everyone!

We are back to discuss the second episode that should have been the 10th episode. Anyway, girls can be leaders too.

What was this? Inception Of The Obsolete Marathon Man? Haha. No really. Haha. I joke but haha. Wait I lost my mind. Help me because the 80’s won’t. Haha? No? Help!?

It’s just over 5 minutes and written by George R.R. Martin. It’s awful and even thought just 5 minutes it’s still a waste of time. Don’t waste your time. “Hello. You’re important. Bye.”

Our first outing with the 2002 version went fairly well. Hard to go wrong with Jeremy Sisto and Alicia Witt. Anyway, we talk about the nonsense that is this set-up. Is that all we talked about? Hard to remember now because I’m drunk and we just did 4 episodes in a row.

Phoenix and family recently went to Las Vegas and of course had to visit The Twilight Zone mini golf by Monster Mini Golf. It’s inside the Bally’s hotel. If you’re just listening to the podcast then definitely check out the video on Loitering In Wonderland’s YouTube page for pictures of the event and to the swag he got there.

Turns out I was wrong and we did another John Frankenheimer project on another show. Hey, we’ve done over 1000 of these things so it’s hard to remember. Anyway, here is our review of his Tales From The Crypt episode called Maniac At Large (410). This is from the LIW Anthology Series Review feed (formerly known as LIW Tales From The Crypt Review before we realized how terrible that show is.

This is a weird experiment. Adam from Raiders Of The Lost Flicks wanted Phoenix on a video review show of The Orville so he agreed. But he wanted to turn it into his own podcast. So what you’re gonna hear is their conversation before it’s all cut up for Adam’s video. Anyway, does The Orville work as a sci-fi show and/or as a comedy?

Episodes of this show will not be like this one. This is actually audio from LIW The Twilight Zone Review. But since Rod Serling wrote it and Frankenheimer directed it. Why not make use of this for two shows. What? Did you expect me to review this thing twice? Not gonna happen. Stay tuned for future episodes actually intended for this feed.

If you want your art artless and your comedy to be comedyless then this is your movie! If the movie 2001 was a 5 hour lecture then skip it. Now I’m off to chase duck ball for an hour.

We tried to talk about the Titanic but you already know it all. George Roy Hill directed this solid episode of live television from 1956. Hint: the fucker sinks.

This is a classic movie. For some reason. We really don't know why. Because it's weird? So? It's not bad...just.... stupid.

Today we are gathered together at the Chuch Of Frankenheimer to discuss the 1964 drama, Seven Days In May. Oh, Rod Serling wrote the script. You’ll know that immediately.
